1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Fellowship Hall ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Fellowship Hall is a platform that connects Apostolic churches and believers by allowing churches to post events and individuals to discover fellowship opportunities. The Service is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any denomination or organization.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Church Registration

Churches must apply and be verified before posting events. The verification process helps ensure the legitimacy and trustworthiness of event listings. We reserve the right to approve or deny church registration applications at our discretion.

5. Event Listings

  • Events must comply with our Posting Guidelines.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of event information you post.
  • We reserve the right to remove any event listing that violates our guidelines.
  • Event listings are made publicly available to all visitors of the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Spam or post unsolicited commercial content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content) are the property of The Fellowship Hall. You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant The Fellowship Hall a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service (including delivery through third-party hosting and content-delivery providers). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has been shared publicly and cached or where retention is required by law.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event listings or user-submitted content. We are not responsible for the actions of churches, organizations, or individuals who use the Service. Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, moved, or changed by their organizers at any time, including after you have saved or subscribed to them, and we are not responsible for such changes or for any costs arising from them. Attendance at any event listed on the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Fellowship Hall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. To the extent any liability is found notwithstanding the foregoing, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or our Posting Guidelines, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
